Hi, I'm a Kenyan living in Saudi Arabia.I have been here for an year and every day is a new story n now cant help to see how young Kenyans are suffering here and they came here in such of greener pastures....I was recruited by an agency in Nairobi called PROFFESIONAL INTERNATIONAL TALENT ( PIT) AGENCY,first promised a job in canada then after paying the upfront of 150k and waiting for 2mnths he called me and said there was a delay and the embassy was having some problems ....he said there was another job in Saudi Arabia n could start wrking immediately and it was paying more from 150k from the intial agreement to go to canada with 250k I had to pay 300k,,,,,,h took me to the airport and there to my suprise I met other 6 people that we were to travel together he gave us our document n hurriedly gave us a doc to sign that it was to confirm that he had given us passport.on ourway in he gave me an envelope that had our contracts as he said.....n said should open n read it in Doha where we will have a stop over....getting to Doha we sat together and I opened the envelope ooops it was not contract.....but a letter on how we were to go about when we arrive in Saudi Arabia we had to take a train for 32hrs,,,,and he had promised someone will pick us up....on arrival to Saudi Arabia we faced with many challenges since we did not know even the currency rate nobody could speak engllish and for a night we slept outside since we did not know even how ask for a hotel....next day we got lucky n found a guy from ghana who helped us to book train n since we had lost much cash we had to go standing for 32 hours.when got to the place we found a lady by the name TERESIA NYAMBURA...she had two single rooms and other 8kenyans were there without jobs....we were to sleep in shifts and with time some ladies were send to brothels,,,and when ran came back she could not take them finally we realised there were no jobs.....we planned to complain and to expose her to Kenyan embassy and she told us take the embassy number n calling nothing was done instead they told her and she kicked us out,,,,the boys was hard they rented single room ten guys.....the 7ladies we thought to go back hme enquiring our tickets opps it was 1way,2 of the ladies came back home I got 'LUCKY" a got a Kenyan married man who took me in as a chips funga,,,,,,,n same to my other 2frnds...the other 2 got nigerian b.f n tricked them in drugs....so unfortunately as I write you this the 2 ladies will be hanged today by the chinese govertment and more other 17 kenyans........it has been the trend more Kenyans streaming in.I later got a job may b can say by a miracle,,,,,Knyans are becoming prostitute and thieves since there no jobs especially at the middle of term,,,,,i met 8 kenyans now street families in Saudi Arabia brought by the same agent....Today I have brought in my house 3kenyans stranded the number they were given is not working how do I help three people and yet they have a 1 way ticket....when friends got back to Kenya reporting in various police station was fruitless he always get his out,,,another trick we had signed docs not knowing.....talking about midea he claims that even Moha is his good friends and on his fb page got pictures of him with some tv celeb like Erick Omondi.......this agents includes PROFFESIONAL INTERNATIONAL TALENT ( PIT) AGENCY n TALENT QUEST here is also a website

In today's world, stress is inescapable. Stress can be a major factor in physical and psychological illnesses. Stress is closely related to fear, panic, and anxiety. A number of relatively common psychological disturbances share symptoms that include anxiety as a central component. The somatic symptom disorders involve a preoccupation with the body or a medical illness. The dissociative disorders involve an alteration in consciousness or memory such as amnesia or, in an extreme case, the development of multiple personalities as in dissociative identity disorder.




Attached is a Sample Case - Woody (do not use Woody in your M2 A2 assignment analysis).

 

Review the sample case. Also attached is a guideline for developing cases. Develop one original fictional case study that portrays a specific diagnosis within the categories of: anxiety, somatic symptom disorders, or dissociative disorders.

The case description must include all of the DSM criteria necessary to diagnose that disorder, but may also include additional symptoms not found within that diagnostic category. Include some demographic background of the fictional case subject. This portion of the assignment should be 1 page.

 

Mental health professionals are often trained in one or more theoretical orientations. Each theoretical orientation provides a specific insight into why a person acts the way he or she does. The theoretical orientation also guides the professional's choice of treatment options to address the symptoms presented by the individual to be treated. Several theoretical explanations of abnormal behavior have been described in your readings for this module. Some of these are biological, psychodynamic, behavioral, existential, cognitive, and sociocultural.

 

Identify the treatment approach for your case based upon the theory you have chosen to explain the disorder. Then in 2, write your own theoretical analysis of case characteristics in relation to the disorder the case represents.

 

Write the case and theoretical analysis in a 3-page (1 page for case, 2 pages for theoretical analysis) paper in Word format. Be sure to include an APA style title page and to cite the online course and the text applying APA standards.
